The City of Nanaimo is currently holding a naming contest for its two new automated garbage trucks.

There are very few rules for the naming contest, only that residents submit original names.

Individuals can participate in the contest as many times as they like.

Winners will be invited to an official naming ceremony later this year. They will also receive their choice of a six-month family city recreation pass or a 12-month individual pass.

The contest ends on Sept. 22. To participate in the contest, visit http://bit.ly/2ewn1vT. For more information, visit www.nanaimo.ca.
