The total construction value of building permits issued by the City of Terrace in August was just over $7 million less than in Aug. 2019.

Total construction value of permits was $2,150,145, mostly made up of five single residential permits worth a combined $1.66 million. That value is greater than the $850,000 worth of single residential permits issued in August last year.

Also, there were 27 permits issued in August compared to Aug. 2019’s 24. But last August’s total value is millions of dollars greater due to a $7 million dollar BC Hydro canopy extension and storage area at its premises at 5220 Keith Ave. There were no commercial additions this August.
