Update 4:19 p.m. May 9:
The RCMP have confirmed that the driver of the vehicle which struck the power pole on 3 street NW earlier this morning was transported to hospital with non life threatening injuries.
The collision resulted in damage to the vehicle and the pole as well as downed power lines.
No other vehicles were involved in the collision.
Original Story:
A City of Salmon Arm pickup truck collided with a pole on 3 street NW at approximately 7:30 a.m. on May 9.
Salmon Arm Fire Department and RCMP crews responded to the scene.
