City of Grand Forks staff and council members were on hand Thursday at the gallery 2 with the proposed plans for the second phase of the downtown beautification project.
The first phase saw new painted crosswalks and new planters and benches and more on or near Market. The second phase will expand the beautfication into other parts of downtown.
“Through the Downtown Beautification Project, we want to build on the livability and quality of life in our community by making the downtown a focus for investment opportunity and tourism attraction. Downtowns are the vital social and economic engines of many communities,” said Mayor Brian Taylor in a press release0
