Emergency repair crews were on hand and train traffic slowed after a CN derailment today.
According to the national company, one grain car and two locomotive cars went off the tracks at around 6:45 a.m. in the rail yard located near Kenny St. and Hwy16 in downtown Terrace.
“There were no injuries, no dangerous goods involved and no spills or leaks,” CN said in a statement.
This afternoon CN crews were still trying to re-rail the section of train.
