CNC and ICBA working together

The College of New Caledonia and the Independent Contractors and Businesses Association are working together to help CNC graduates find work within the construction industry.

The College of New Caledonia and the Independent Contractors and Businesses Association are working together to help CNC graduates find work within the construction industry.

A Memorandum of Understanding was signed June 7th, 2017 for both partners to collaborate on recruitment, retention and advancement opportunities for graduates. The MOU is the first of its kind between ICBA and a post-secondary institute.

“We pride ourselves on working closely with local stakeholders, and this partnership will bring tremendous benefits to our students and it is an important step toward meeting the needs of industry,” said Frank Rossi, CNC Dean of Trades and Technologies. “The partnership links CNC’s students transitioning into the industry in a seamless manner, and will help secure employment for our students to continue with their chosen trade.”
