The College of New Caledonia (CNC) connected with colleges from all across the province, as well as government, to celebrate BC Colleges Day at the Parliament Buildings in Victoria on Feb. 27.
This year, BC Colleges Day celebrated the affordable, accessible and applied education options colleges offer students in British Columbia.
With nearly 50 years providing education, CNC has remained affordable offering one of the lowest college tuition in the province.
CNC is implementing Digital Delivery Instruction technology to make more programming accessible across its six unique campuses, which covers approximately 12 per cent of the province.
CNC also offers a range of programs allowing students to apply their knowledge in crucial workplace settings. Some of these programs, including dental hygiene, machinist, professional cook, web and graphic design, as well as the upcoming sonography and civil engineering programs, are among some of the only options available north of the Lower Mainland.
“We are proud of our college,” said CNC President Henry Reiser.
“Most importantly, we are proud of our students and graduates. When we talk about success at CNC, it is their stories we are sharing.”
