Today, coffee drinkers across Canada, including here in the Central Okanagan, are helping kids go to summer camp as part of Tim Horton’s annual Camp Day.
Thanks to Tim Horton’s customers and its restaurant owners, last year’s Camp Day raised a record $11 million across Canada, which helped to send more than 15,000 deserving kids from economically disadvantaged homes on a once-in a-lifetime camping adventure.
All the proceeds from coffee sales on Camp Day go to the Tim Horton’s Children’s Foundation for the program. Local restaurants, like this one on Powick Road in Kelowna, participated.
