No serious injuries resulted from a single vehicle crash early Saturday morning in Colwood.
The vehicle ran into some fencing outside the Colwood Corners project on Island Highway.
“It took out a bit of the plywood covering on the fencing,” noted Assistant Fire Chief Greg Chow.
Beyond that, Colwood Fire Rescue had a relatively quiet B.C. Day weekend, he added, responding only to a handful of medical calls and alarm bells.
