As the Comox Valley prepares to celebrate pride and diversity, the Prime Chophouse & Wine Bar is getting ready to celebrate and support right alongside the LGBTQ2 Community.
Prime has always opened its doors to everyone, and Pride is no exception. They encourage everyone to take advantage of the Happy Hour from 3-5 p.m., and two-for-one burgers after 9 p.m.
From Aug. 25-27, the Prime Chophouse and Vancouver-based company CruiseyT Productions join forces and bring three days of a community working together and having fun.
CruiseyT has operated in Vancouver and Seattle over the past 26 years. Working together as a community and raising funds for charities is the main reason for CruiseyT’s success.
CruiseyT will bring DJ Skylar Love from YVR to spin at the T-Dance on Sunday, Aug. 27.Once known as DJ D-Lux, Skylar Love has been playing the Vancouver and international club scene for seven-plus years. Advance tickets are $7.50, or $10 at the door. Purchase at www.cruiseyT.com. Proceeds from the T-Dance will benefit the Comox Valley Pride Society & the Langley-Parnell Bursary Fund.
The Prime also opens its doors to Celebrate Pride on Friday as a Warm Up Party for Déjà Vu, with Happy Hour from 3-5, and a meet & greet until 8 p.m. On Saturday, Aug. 26, CruiseyT presents its Pride House Warming Party – stop in and meet the owner/organizer of CruiseyT, James Steck.
