A concrete pour started this morning at the new headworks building at Creston’s upgraded waste water treatment plant, part of $5.785 million contract awarded to the design-build team of Maple Reinders-Urban Sytems.
The three-hour pour was undertaken by T.A. Rendek and Associates Ltd., using nearly 40 cubic metres of concrete from Valleywide Concrete Products. The two are among several local companies subcontracted to work on the project, which will total $7.1 million.
