Federal MPs were in Kelowna July 8 to announce improved access to programs and services for Canadians with disabilities.
The City of Kelowna is receiving $50,000 through the Enabling Accessibility Fund (EAF).
With the funding, Kelowna will create an inclusive playground at Rutland Centennial Park by building an accessible playground structure.
The majority of new EAF projects will enhance access for children, veterans or seniors with disabilities.
