Town of Lake Cowichan employees Keepy Johel and Kate Frost were called out to contain and clean-up a contamination in the ditch along Pine Street on Tuesday, March 27. Nagi Rizk, superintendent of Public Works and Engineering Services for the Town would like to remind all residents that everything that goes into the storm drains ends up in the river and to use the proper recycling facilities when disposing of anything that could harm the environment.
