The coroner’s service is investigating a fatality that occurred on a South Surrey hay farm last week.
According to BC Coroners’ Service spokesman Andy Watson, an incident was reported on the afternoon of Sept. 2.
Exactly what happened was not disclosed, “due to privacy and the nature of an open investigation.”
Surrey RCMP confirmed that police attended a location at 176 Street and 1 Avenue, and that the victim was an adult.
Watson said the BCCS investigation “will look to determine cause of death and any contributory factors.”
PAN was alerted to the tragedy on Thursday (Sept. 10).
