The BC Coroners Service has confirmed the identity of a man who died after a motor vehicle incident near Peachland on May 12.
He was Peter Hudyma, aged 84, of Oliver.
Mr. Hudyma was the driver and sole occupant of a car that left the roadway in the 6400 block of Highway 97C near Peachland at about 5:50 p.m. on May 12. Mr. Hudyma was deceased at the scene.
The BC Coroners Service and RCMP Traffic Services continue to investigate this death.
Mr. Hudyma’s family has been notified of his death. On behalf of family members, the BC Coroners Service asks that the media respect their privacy at this difficult time.
