In the article “Campground permit near Landstrom Road approved by Hope council” in the March 12 edition of The Hope Standard, it was mistakenly reported that Council made their final decision on the temporary use permit.
The council’s vote during the March 8 council meeting means they approved preparing the permit rather than approving the permit itself. This is one of the steps prior to final approval.
Approving preparation means the public notice has not yet been issued and council has not yet made a final decision on the permit.
The Standard regrets the error.
