Kelowna Mounties sent out an alert stating that they have received an unconfirmed report of a cougar sighting near Fascieux Creek in the green belt area located between K.L.O Road and Lanfranco Road.

Police attended the area, however were unable to locate the cougar, said Const. Jesse O’Donaghey.

The BC Conservation Officer Service have been alerted and are expected to attend the area.
