The next regular District of Hope Council meeting is scheduled for Monday, March 22, at 7 p.m. via Facebook Live at www.facebook.com/DistrictOfHope.
The following is a brief look at Monday’s upcoming meeting:
- Fraser Inclusive and Supportive Housing Society will appear as a delegation to introduce the organization and speak on a housing project for people with cognitive disabilities.
- District staff is looking for the council’s endorsement for a grant application from the Union of B.C. Municipalities for approximately $317,000 to address issues of homelessness in the Hope area.
- The council will decide on the issuance of a three-year temporary use permit for up to 15 recreational vehicles and a manager’s site at 21415 Trans Canada Highway.
Following the March 22 meeting, the next council meeting is scheduled for April 12.
