In Clearwater provincial court held Tuesday, Jan. 30, Doreen Fyfe was fined $500, must pay a victim surcharge of $75 and was prohibited from driving a motor vehicle for one year. She had been charged with driving while prohibited under Section 95.1 of the Motor Vehicle Act. The incident occurred in Little Fort.
An allegation of fear of personal injury under the Criminal Code of Canada netted Peter J. Spooner a one year $500 recognizance. The incident occurred in Birch Island.
Warrants were issued for Mitchell E. Brulotte. He faced three counts of possession of drugs for the purposes of trafficking. The incidents all occurred in Clearwater.
Warrants also were issued for Bruce Tourond. He faced two counts each of driving while prohibited and driving while prohibited by court order or operation of law. One pair of counts occurred in Vavenby while the other was in Clearwater.
A total of 16 individuals faced a total of 41 charges or other reasons to appear in Clearwater court. Most were set over to appear at another date.
