As as result of the COVID-19 pandemic the Cherry Lane Shopping Centre in Penticton is adopting new cleaning procedures and modifying its hours.
The mall announced Monday they are increasing routine cleaning by frequently cleaning and paying close attention to high-touch areas.
Due to the increased routine cleaning, their hours have changed to: Monday through Saturday 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Sunday 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The organization says their employees have been asked to take necessary precautions to safeguard their health and the health of the community, including staying home if they have any symptoms of illness.
Save On Foods and London Drugs will continue with their same hours; Save On Foods will be open until 10 p.m. and London Drugs until 9 p.m.
As of Monday there were over 300 confirmed cases of the virus in Canada.
