COVID-19: City of Parksville announces changes to community centre parking lot

Moves made to accommodate immunization clinic

With COVID-19 immunizations to start next week, changes to the Parksville Community Centre parking lot have been announced.

The immunization clinic, operated by the Vancouver Island Health Authority, will be in the PCC from March 15 through September. Island Health expects the clinic will be operational 12 hours a day, seven days a week, providing vaccinations to Parksville Qualicum Beach residents.

Designated parking at the PCC, located at 132 Jensen Ave., has been changed to accommodate public use while attending the clinic. Additional accessible parking has been added to the east side of the building. Parking for Island Health and the Parksville Civic and Technology Centre staff has been designated.

Questions about vaccinations should be directed to Island Health.
