COVID exposure at Sasquatch Mountain ended

The public exposure at Sasquatch Mountain Resort is no longer in effect.

The resort was closed for the season at the time of the exposure; those who lived in staff housing or attended gatherings like staff ski day on April 4 and 5 were asked to self-isolate.

Public exposure events that are no longer in effect drop off from Fraser Health’s website one month after the last exposure date.

COVID-19 vaccination appointments continue to be open at Agassiz Agricultural Hall every Wednesday; the District of Kent reported an average of at least 300 doses of the vaccines being administered every week.

Thus far in 2021, the Agassiz-Harrison area experienced about nine new COVID-19 cases per week on average.
