A motorist was sent to hospital after an accident in Vernon.
RCMP officers were called to 32nd Street, in front of the Prestige Hotel, early Friday morning after receiving reports of a single-vehicle incident.
Apparently the vehicle went off the road to the right and struck a light post.
“Any time a vehicle rolls over, we take it seriously,” said Sgt. Glen Caston.
The motorist was taken to hospital but the extent of injuries is unknown.
The accident, which led to the closure of 32nd Street between 2:40 and 4:30 a.m., remains under investigation.
