A collision between two vehicles on Highway 97 at Banks Road is causing major traffic delays, on Tuesday afternoon.
A northbound single lane of Highway 97 is closed at this time while emergency crews are on scene.
The incident occurred about 2:30 p.m. when on of the vehicles turned left and hit an oncoming vehicle. One of the vehicles involved was a Greyhound courier van.
It’s unclear if anyone was injured; however an ambulance remains on scene.
According to witnesses the vehicles may have to be towed from the scene.
