"We are here today to say that we don't want you to sell the CEC. You have to give us a better space to educate our children."

A group of parents and children from Creston traveled to the school board office in Nelson today to talk to trustees as they entered their meeting. Then they went downtown and demonstrated in front of the Nelson courthouse.

“We are here today to say that we don’t want you to sell the CEC. You have to give us a better space to educate our children.”

“They want to put two systems into one very small building, and the largest school classroom is 618 square feet for 23 full-time elementary students. We are here to say we are not OK with the solution they have given us. It’s not acceptable for any parent.” said concerned parent Renee Bayley.
