Crews fight fire on Gladys Avenue in Abbotsford

Blaze is believed to have started in the garage

Fire crews were on the scene of a house fire on Gladys Avenue which started at about 3 p.m. Saturday.

Fire crews were on the scene of a house fire on Gladys Avenue which started at about 3 p.m. Saturday.

Fire crews were called to a house fire this afternoon (Saturday) in Abbotsford.

The blaze took place at about 3 p.m. at a home at 34307 Gladys Ave. and is believed to have begun in the garage.

Nobody was injured in the incident, although firefighters rescued a cat from the home and gave the pet oxygen at the scene. The cat appeared to be OK.
