On Sept. 26, 100 Mile House RCMP were called to a report of a break-and-enter to the Canada Post Office in Lac la Hache.
Several mail boxes were entered and mail was stolen, and Canada Post will be contacting those affected.
A number of mail items were later located on Abbey Frontage Road in Lac la Hache. The break-in is believed to have occurred sometime after 5 p.m. on Sept. 25.
Police are advising that if anyone’s identity or a fraudulent act has taken place as
a result of this offence, to call police immediately.
