Crime Stoppers is seeking the public's help in locating these two individuals.

Crime Stoppers is asking the public’s assistance in locating the following individuals who are wanted on provincewide warrants as of March 28.

Rene Michael Cherot is wanted for intimidation of a justice system participant. Cherot is described as a 36-year-old Caucasian male, five-foot-10, 150 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes.

Deborah May Toole is wanted for breach of undertaking. Toole is described as a 35-year-old Caucasian female, five-foot-five, 111 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.

Crime Stoppers will pay cash for information leading to the arrest of these individuals.

If you see them, do not approach, but call  Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS) or leave a web tip at www.SouthOkanaganCrimeStoppers.ca or Text “sostips” and send your info to CRIMES (274637).

 

Person of interest

 

The police and Crime Stoppers are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the person of interest (pictured below) with regards to a break, enter and theft at the liquor store in the Penticton Plaza on Main Street.

A brick was thrown through the window and a quantity of liquor stolen between 1 and 1:45 a.m. on Feb. 5. This person of interest was wearing a black, grey and white jacket with a hood, a red baseball cap, blue jeans and white runners.

Anyone with information on this incident is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) or leave a tip on the website at  www.SouthOkanaganCrimeStoppers.ca or text message sostips with your info and send it to CRIMES (274637) where you will remain anonymous.

Crime Stoppers does not subscribe to call display and is not a police program. Should your information lead to an arrest, you may qualify for a cash reward of up to $2,000.
