100 Mile House RCMP looking for information in early morning theft

Around 4 a.m. on Sept. 14, a young male was walking from his residence to his place of employment when he was approached by an unknown male in the 400 block of Evergreen Crescent.

This person, who was dressed in a black hoodie and blue jeans, produced a knife and demanded money from the victim who had no money, but ended up giving his cell phone to the suspect. The suspect left the victim at the entrance to Centennial Park.

The victim walked to his work where he called police. Patrols were made in the area, but the suspect was not located.

The victim was not injured, but was shaken up as a result of this encounter. He was unable to see the suspect’s face and did not know who he was.
