Sometime overnight on Oct. 4 two Rocky Mountain bicycles worth about $6,500 in total were taken from a Toyota Highlander in the Ramada Inn parking lot.

The first is described as a white, Prestige carbon racing bike ($2,500) and the second was a dark, metallic grey Altitude ($4,000).

The other cases involved bicycles stolen from McDonald’s and Save On Foods.

Late last month RCMP arrested three people and recovered about $12,000 in stolen bicycles along with a number of other items.

The identity of those arrested has not yet been released pending formal charges according to Dellebuur.
