A woman wanted in Indiana was arrested at the Peace Arch border this month.
According to a news release issued Tuesday (Dec. 13), U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers took a 55-year-old Fort Wayne, Ind. resident into custody on Dec. 3 when she attempted to cross with her husband and two other passengers, in a car bearing California licence plates.
A felony warrant revealed she was wanted on “dangerous drugs” charges.
Transported to Whatcom County Jail, the woman is awaiting extradition.
