A local lawyer is warning designated drivers they may not be covered by insurance that if their drunk passenger causes an accident.
Following a recent British Columbia Supreme Court ruling that ICBC is under no obligation to compensate the designated driver, 100 Mile House Peter Messner talked about a case he had regarding a similar accident to the Supreme Court case on Horse Lake Road during which an impaired passenger pulled on the emergency brake.
