There will continue to be a political focus on agricultural and its social and economic impact on the region.
The Regional District of North Okanagan board has made appointments to the regional agricultural advisory committee.
Membership will include representatives from Coldstream and Spallumcheen.
“Both have agricultural area plans,” said Mike Macnabb, BX-Silver Star director, who is also a committee member.
Also participating in the committee will be the directors from the BX-Swan Lake and rural Enderby electoral areas, as well as the municipalities of Vernon, Enderby and Armstrong.
