District Public House is reopening its doors on Halloween after a “retooling” according to an announcement by pub owners this week.
They’re rolling out a new pub menu, more local music and craft beer at the end of the month.
“As a thank you for your patience during this transition period, the owners of District Public House would like to welcome Chilliwack back for a free hotdog with a purchase of any beer, while supplies last.”
The pub at Five Corners reopens on Oct. 31.
It was shut down for a change in the ownership structure after an unrelated stabbing incident closed the doors of the business for a few days in early October.
The upstairs section at the District was the scene of a terrifying incident on Sept. 29, when two male patrons were stabbed. A male suspect has since been charged.
