The District of Vanderhoof is requesting all businesses to hang a COVID-19 social distancing poster in their storefront windows.
Lori Egli, chief administrative officer for the district said the purpose of the poster is to remind people about social distancing. “And to just inform them when they are out and about that social distancing measures are in effect.”
If you do not have colour printing abilities, the district of Vanderhoof has printed out several copies and have them available in a box outside their office.
Vanderhoof Chamber of Commerce sent an email to all chamber members on March 25 informing them about the poster as well.
“If everyone does their part, we can reduce the impact of COVID-19 in our community,” stated Vanderhoof’s chamber in their email blast.
In Vanderhoof, businesses like Fields have put a restriction on the number of people in their store at one time. Currently, it is restricted to eight people, including staff.
