The Department of National Defence and the Royal Canadian Navy will be conducting a night firing exercise on Thursday (Oct. 30).
The exercise will take place from 3 p.m. to midnight at Heals Range, west of Willis Point Road and Wallace Drive in Saanich.
The public is reminded that no unauthorized person may enter this area and trespassing is prohibited.
In the unlikely event stray ammunition and explosive objects are encountered, do not pick up or retain objects as souveniers. Notify police immediately to make arrangements for disposal.
