A five-year-old golden doodle has been returned to his owner after she initially believed it had been stolen.

Kate Belton said in a Facebook post that a friend came by and took the dog without asking or letting anyone know.

“We’re all pretty upset but more thankful that he is home,” said Belton. “[It] was a very eye opening experience and we are so grateful for the immediate support from the community and will be locking the gate to the yard going forward.”
