And in case you missed it, the big movie house is now filled with only power recliners for seats. Visit Landmarkcinemas.com for more info.
• With Surrey Museum set to become a construction zone later this spring/summer, “Under Construction” sessions are happening there. “Play in our dig site, build structures with straws, complete a scavenger hunt in the museum’s galleries and make construction-themed crafts,” say planners of the event, open Tuesday to Friday during the two weeks of spring break. Call 604-592-6956 for info.
• At Historic Stewart Farm, it sounds like they need help to clean the place. “Spring Cleaning” sessions during spring break are described as follows: “Beat the rugs, sweep the verandah, and wash the clothes – it’s spring cleaning time at the Farm! Try your hand at these housekeeping chores and more as you help us clean like a pioneer.” Sessions run from March 21 to March 24, from noon to 3 p.m., free, for all ages.
