A section of 16 Avenue near the King George Boulevard was temporarily closed Friday after high winds downed a power cable.
Power to the neighbourhood was not disrupted, according to the BC Hydro outage list.
Environment Canada released a special weather statement for Metro Vancouver Friday advising of “gusty southeasterly winds.”
