Driver of Ford F350 caught drunk driving

The Terrace RCMP responded to approximately 95 calls for service from April 10 to April 13, 8 a.m.

The Terrace RCMP responded to approximately 95 calls for service from April 10, 8 a.m. until April 13, 8 a.m. During the same time period seventeen people were lodged in Terrace Cells. Ten of these people were lodged for intoxication. The following are descriptions of the responses:

A red 2014 Honda CRV and a grey 2012 Ford Fusion backed into each other in a parking lot at the Northwest Community College. No injuries.

Intoxicated person passed out in the Terrace Public Library. Checks determined that the man was in breach of a condition of undertaking to not possess or consume liquor. The 52 yr old man was arrested and held for court.

A white 2004 Ford F250 was pulled over on Hwy 16 near the 109 km mark. An amount of marihuana and cocaine was seized from the vehicle. The 20 yr old driver was arrested. Charge of possession for the purpose of trafficking is being forwarded to Crown Counsel.

A white 2008 Ford F350 was pulled over in the parking lot of Mac’s on Hwy 16. The 49 yr old driver provided two samples of breath into a roadside screening device that resulted in fails. She was served an Immediate Roadside Prohibition and the vehicle she was driving was impounded.

Deceased 58 yr old man at a residence on Adams Rd.

Three people broke into a residence and damaged a TV on Old Lakelse Lake Dr. Police arrested a 27 yr old woman, a 27 yr old man, and a 32 yr old man. Charges of break and enter, unlawfully in a dwelling unit, and mischief are being forwarded to Crown Counsel.

A grey 2008 Ford Escape was pulled over in the parking lot of the Petro Gas station on Hwy 16. The 23 yr old driver provided two samples of breath into a roadside screening device that resulted in fails. He was served an Immediate Roadside Prohibition and the vehicle he was driving was impounded.

A white 2004 Dodge Dakota was pulled over on Thornhill Frontage Road. The 26 yr old driver provided a sample of breath into a roadside screening device that resulted in a fail. He was served an Immediate Roadside Prohibition and the vehicle he was driving was impounded.
