Environment Canada is cautioning drivers using Highway 3 between Princeton and Hope to use care.
A weather alert was issued early Thursday morning, advising drivers of a 20 cm snowfall that will last until evening.
“Be prepared to adjust your driving with changing road conditions. Visibility may be suddenly reduced at times in heavy snow.
Weather in the mountains can change suddenly resulting in hazardous driving conditions,” the alert notice stated.
