2011 Graduate Jessica Ball (third from left) presents Gailene William with the keys to a 2001 Ford F150. The truck was the prize in a community-wide raffle to raise funds for this year’s Dry Grad event. William says she bought five tickets, one of which was drawn as the winner.

Many other businesses contributed to the truck remodel including: Tasco Supplies, Taylor Automotive, Audio Video, Stampede Glass, Steel Horse Performance, Downtown Service, Gene’s Paving, Blocks R Us, Cariboo Spring Service, Integra Tire Auto Centre, Mark IV Collision Repairs, Smart Choice Auto Detailing and Aluminum Polishing, Peterson Contracting, Carline Shields Brake and Muffler and Schickworks Signs and Stitches.
The raffle raised approximately $18,000 for the event.
