A dump-truck engine ignited Wednesday afternoon near the William R. Bennett Bridge.
Fortunately the driver was able to pull safely on to the Campbell Road offramp off Highway 97 before the truck fully ignited.
Crews were called to the scene at approximately 1:50 p.m. and were able to put out the blaze.
No injuries were reported.
