An elderly woman was knocked to ground the during an afternoon robbery at University Heights Shopping Centre Jan. 21.
The woman, who police say “was quite shaken-up,” had her purse stolen near the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce, but could not identify if the suspect was on foot or in a vehicle.
Saanich Police and BC Ambulance Service attended the call at approximately 3:45 p.m., when the woman was treated for minor injuries.
