Election 2014: All candidates talk about kids

The Greater Nanaimo Early Years Partnership is hosting an all-candidates meeting Monday (Oct. 27) at the Nanaimo Child Development Centre.

An all-candidates meeting on Monday will focus on the city’s youngest demographic.

The Greater Nanaimo Early Years Partnership is hosting an all-candidates meeting Monday (Oct. 27) at the Nanaimo Child Development Centre.

“This meeting will provide an opportunity for all candidates to [talk] about the priorities regarding a healthy community for children and youth,” noted an event press release.

There will be a presentation on issues and priorities surrounding children and youth, and a question-and-answer period for attendees and media.

The meeting is scheduled for noon-12:45 p.m. at the child development centre at 1135 Nelson Street.
