It’s a full slate for the Village of Chase elections as three candidates vie for mayor and nine for council.

As of the closing of nominations Friday, 12 people were vying for the five positions available: mayor and four councillors.

Three people filed their nomination papers for the position of mayor: former mayor Harry Danyluk, current councillor Rick Berrigan and newcomer Jocelyn Nash.

Those who have filed papers for the four council seats are three incumbents Rod Crowe, Steven Scott, and David Lepsoe, as well as Nancy Egely, Carman Lynch, Don Price, Val Donnelly, Ali Maki, and Diane Overton.

Whoever is elected mayor of Chase also represents the village on the Thompson-Nicola Regional District Board.
