There’s one opportunity to hear from the candidates seeking a seat at Enderby city hall and the Regional District of North Okanagan office.
There will be an all-candidates forum Nov. 4 at 7 p.m. at the Enderby Seniors Complex for Enderby mayor, Enderby councillor and rural Enderby (Area F) director.
“This is great opportunity to learn about the candidates and their platforms, encouraging the public to make an informed decision when voting in the Nov. 15 election” said Corinne Peard, with the Enderby Chamber of Commerce, which is hosting the event.
“We want our residents to have a chance to bring forward the issues of Enderby and Area F to the candidate who, after the election, will be representing our interests.”
During the forum, each candidate will be given the opportunity to make an opening statement.
After this, the audience may submit questions on paper to any or all candidates, which the moderator will ask.
Following the question period, each candidate will issue a closing statement.
Questions can be submitted prior to the forum and dropped off at the chamber of commerce office at 702 Railway St. or they can be e-mailed to corinne@enderbychamber.com.
