On Oct. 20, local voters will go to the polls to choose a new mayor, city council and school board.
Voters in Electoral Area-C, will also elect directors for the Fraser Valley Regional District (FVRD) board.

Visit the District of Kent’s 2018 General Location Election page or the Village of Harrison’s Municipal Elections and Voter information page for details. For voters in Electoral Area-C, additional information can be found at fvrd.ca.
The chief election officer for the 2018 Local Government Election in the District of Kent is Bev Kennedy. Election questions in DOK can be directed to (604) 796-2235.
In Harrison Hot Springs, Barbara Tenbos has taken on the role of chief election officer. She can be reached at (604) 819-5845.
The chief election officer for the Fraser Valley Regional District is Jamie Schween, who can be reached at (604) 702-5000.
The Harrison Agassiz Chamber of Commerce will again sponsor all-candidates meetings open to the public in both municipalities. Candidates will be asked a series of questions collated and presented by a moderator. Anyone who would like to ask a question can do so by emailing the Chamber of Commerce at info@harrison.ca.
