Due to limited physician availability, the South Okanagan General Hospital Emergency Department will be closed from 10 p.m. Aug. 19 to 6 a.m. Aug. 20.
According to a release from Interior Health, residents should call 911 in the event of an emergency or visit the emergency department at the Penticton Regional Hospital, located at 550 Carmi Avenue.
If you are unsure if you need to visit an emergency department, call the 24-hour service HealthLinkBC at 811.
