First aid competition tested skills of Metro Vancouver air cadets

Secondary first-aider Eric Wilcox, 15, a member of the Royal Canadian Air Cadets Coronation Squadron 583, bandages a patient during a first-aid competition at Thomas Haney secondary on Saturday.  Twenty six squadrons of sea, army and air cadets from around the Lower Mainland and Fraser Valley  took part. Teams had 20 minutes to assess a construction accident scenario and properly diagnose patients’ injuries.
